LIGHT GIRLS

Everything starts from the light for these girls stuck between adolescence and childhood. These girls, whose average is between 13 and 21 years old, are entrusted to an institute/foster home in Milan, after an order of the juvenile court. The removal from their families is due to continuous psychological and physical violence at home. For them it is like living on a double track that hardly ever find a junction in a serene adolescence, they suffer of distress, absence of benchmarks and they need "normality." The permanence in this Institute drives them towards education to a new life.
