BURLESQUE VOODOO

This is a "work in progress", as a result of my attraction towards Retrò atmospheres and from investigation on the female figure. It all begins with documentation of some evening shows in Milan that gave me the opportunity to meet the Agency who took the burlesque back in Italy in t he latest years. Ancient art of social female protest, was born in the mid' 800. In the 50's it made a comeback but turned into an ironic and sensual game where the woman is funny but never vulgar. This is the closest idea of Burlesque to what we see today. What interests me is to tell how the protagonists in this revival of Burlesque in Italy live their contemporary life, especially the girls.
